I often see folks getting caught up in judgment of others, and I have definitely succumbed to this myself.
That judgment may come from a place of love or concern, when we see someone we care about taking actions that seem not in their best interest or part of a pattern of behavior that repeats over and over.
At other times, that judgment is not altruistic at all. It can come from a place of perceived superiority or condescension. Some folks only feel “bigger” by viewing others as “smaller”. Or we think that our choices and values are “the RIGHT” way or what “any normal person would do”.
But whatever the source, judgment of others lowers our own vibration, distracts us from our own path and ultimately benefits neither the judge nor the judged. We do not know why they are on their journey, what life lessons they are working on, what brought them to the choices or actions they are making. And we are not omniscient – those choices may ultimately lead to a meaningful outcome.
When observing the choices of others, have compassion for their journey and their soul. Do not lower your energy and vibration by standing in judgment of the path that others take. Instead, reflect on your own path, your own growth, your own journey. That way, happiness lies.
We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.
