I recently came across the work of Richard Wagamese, Ojibway Author, and the lovely conversations between him and Old Woman which he shares on his Facebook page.
Me: What is the secret to life?
Old Woman: Learning to love it.
Me: Even the hard parts? Even the pain?
Old Woman: Especially those. When you reach out to the love of living instead of the fear of dying you create more life.
Me: That sounds like awfully hard work.
Old Woman: Choose moments then – and let the days take care of themselves. These days I’m learning to occupy my moments….”
Today I am following Old Woman’s advice, the wisdom of The Crone …. I’m letting the day take care of itself and I am occupying my moments.
What intentions are you creating for YOUR day?
