Friday the 13th and a Full Moon? WOW, there are so many posts about this, the “unlucky” energies, what to watch out for.
But, to be honest, Friday the 13th is not something I normally notice but its conjunction with the Full Harvest Moon has raised the awareness of many people. I’ve never aligned with the supposed negative energies of the date although many do. To each his or her own, as they say.
But, for me, there is a another way to celebrate it!
I choose instead to reclaim the number 13 on this day and its association with Grandmother Moon aka Seanmháthair Gealach (in Irish Gaelic).
At tonight’s Full Harvest Moon (the closest Full Moon to the Autumn Equinox on September 23rd), I will honour and celebrate the 13 moons of Grandmother Moon.
